The BA in Law is a degree designed to provide legal education to students who wish to pursue a career in law, for whom legal education is useful but do not need a JD. Admission to law school is a multidimensional process that does not depend on the major. But a Bachelor of Laws degree will provide useful training for those who wish to continue their legal studies at law school. In addition, law students admitted to the James E. Rogers College of Law`s 3+3 program can earn their Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctorates in less time. Plan an event and request a meeting room at the Faculty of Law → students are encouraged to seek dual majors both within SGPP and in other departments. Students are encouraged to speak with the Law Academic Advisor (see above) about declaring dual majors to ensure all course requirements are met. Students outside the SGPP should first speak with the academic advisor in their home department. The admissions committee seeks outstanding academic skills, a competitive LSAT score, and written and oral communication skills. All applicants will be selected based on a combination of LSAT score and cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
